Measuring your wall
Measuring your wall is easier than you think. All we need is the width and height of the wall at the longest and widest possible points. However, sometimes it’s not so simple, as you may be measuring multiple walls, or have obstacles in your way. That’s why we’ve put together this handy guide.
Murals
A mural is a wallpaper printed in strips that all fit together to create one large image or design, typically on one wall. Murals are custom-fit to any wall size.
Ordering a wall mural is simple - if you're browsing a mural right now just click "Customize & buy", you'll be taken to our wall tool. Our handy wall tool takes your measurements and gives you a preview of how it will look. There are various ways our wall tool allows you to make adjustments, but if you want something more bespoke, we offer a design service completely free. Repeat Pattern Wallpaper
Repeat pattern wallpaper is the traditional style wallpaper as we’ve always known it. A repeat design that is printed onto rolls, and the number of rolls is determined by the size of the surface that you’re covering.
If you’re viewing a wallpaper product, you’ll see a calculator on the page that will allow you to enter your measurements. We can then use that to let you know how many rolls you’ll need to buy.
Please note: Wallpaper sold by the roll is currently only available in our Standard paper type range.

Sample availability
Currently, samples purchased on-site are only sold in our Standard paper type.
However, pre-printed samples are available for our Peel & Stick and Pro papers upon request. Please contact us at contact@hovia.com and we’d be happy to help.

Like an existing design but want to change something to make it that extra bit perfect? Hovia’s Client Design Team offers a completely free customization service.

We aim to review your request within 1-2 working days. If you’ve provided enough specific information, our designers can get to work and get back in touch with a preview of your customization request. If we need more information, we’ll get back in touch with you to discuss your needs further.

We work with leading suppliers to find the most innovative, high quality and planet-friendly paper types available. Each type is rigorously tested to ensure it meets our quality, safety, and sustainability criteria.
Our recommendation is generally based on the size of your project and the condition of your walls.
Standard
Standard by name, amazing by nature. Our best selling paper has a satin finish and is durable, perfect for DIY installation at home or in commercial spaces.
